ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Sunset can be a busy time at Callanish as people gather to appreciate the end of the day and photograph the changing light and setting sun on the ancient standing stones. It is always grounding to remember the sun has risen and set on these ancient standing stones for some 5000 yrs, and will again tomorrow.
