Callanish Standing Stones and the low Southern moon - Glass Chopping Board

Callanish Standing Stones and the low southern moon of September 2024 and the start of the year of the lowest Southern Lunar standstill transits each month with the lowest in March 2025. There is of course a moon to be seen always (weather / moon phase permitting) from the stones and day or night a glimpse of the moon when visiting is always a treat and something to spark wonder and connection with past, present and future. Note - I have digitally removed the fenceline from this photo, first to see what it looked like, then kept as a favourite because it all must have been even more wonderful without those fences.
